Audrey the Adirondack Dog
I am sure that Audrey appreciates the Adirondacks more than any of us. She lives in the moment, not worrying about the electric bill or the landscaping, or anything else. She is absolutely carefree and happy; it's obvious to everyone who sees her in action, in Adirondack mode. Here, she looks out from the screen porch at something interesting in the surrounding forest. Maybe a chipmunk or a duck or a loon. It is unfortunate that we cannot have the same in-the-moment appreciation of life that Audrey has. It is simple, but it is true.
