The recent drunk driving boating tragedy on Fourth Lake happened directly across from our camp, on Alger Island. Young kids drinking at Daiker's, a local lakeside bar, were the victims of a tragic drunk driving accident that killed one of the passengers and injured others. The drunk driver, a 23 year old from Manlius, New York, fled the scene of the crime. He swam across the lake to Thistle Island where he was arrested by police as he emerged from the lake. The recent drunk driving boating tragedy on Fourth Lake happened directly across from our camp, on Alger Island.
