Helen Seymour Sylvester or one of her relatives left a full scrapbook at Seymour Point upon Helen's death. It remains there to this day. Throughout the book are entries about an actress named Rose Stahl (1870-1955), who was born in Chicago and starred as Janice Meredith in the play "Janice Meredith". She appeared in "The Chorus Girl" which she performed in 1906 in London. She returned to New York to perform the same play on Broadway until 1911. We think she was close friends with the Seymours and Sylvesters and may have visited Seymour Point.
