What's the Point?

The Point, of course, is the finest Adirondack lodging we know of. Formerly the estate of the Rockefeller family, it is now a luxury resort on a very exclusive scale. It is small, intimate and everything an Adirondack resort should be. We hear that the service is impeccable: it's like the Four Seasons, but in the wilderness and with more personal attention. It is closed to the public unless you are a guest at the hotel, so call ahead. And bring your platinum card.
